Dude FI is so cheap. With me selling all of my stock parts, LTHs, and Ark I will LITERALLY be breaking even cash wise. Its just the whole DIY/Fabrication factor that sucks. Im really surpised there isnt more FI G's/Z's running around. Once im done and can prove my reliablility I will be more than happy to become a vendor on here and hook all of my MD VA buddies up

what's the company down in Florida doing single turbo kits for like $8700 installed and tuned?

haha send your car there DM :p single turbo is always way cheaper, 1 turbo, use of stock manifold, less piping, less lines haha

DM we can do FI for well under 10k dude. Even with you buying a GTM kit or something.

Let's talk.

TT or SC. If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right.

Truest story ever.

We have a design mocked up to use stock headers for a twin turbo front mount setup. Stock manifolds are pretty but they work and work well.

Everyone argues single vs twin but really if you plan well and do the math a single can get you almost identical spool.

Khoi how is the TT kit coming? Im dying to know how those EFR's spool on our cars. NEED RESULTS BUDDY!! :bowrofl:

Well it's a lot cheaper if you DIY and know what you're doing, which most people don't. Then there's the cost of maintenance and having some money saved up in case you blow something. I've thought about going FI for the Z, but figured I'd rather just buy a faster car. It will be more reliable that way. I've been craving for something with 8+ cylinders :yum:

You're a goddamned mechanical wizard though and you do most of your own work. Not sure that's a fair comparison.

I talked to AAM long ago about doing it right on my Z. I wanted everything from the Defi setup to every supporting mod I needed for the car to handle the power reliably and drive perfectly. Was looking around $18k parts and labor for a custom TT setup.

Like I said, I am most definitely not a mechanic but the PM part of me desperately wants to be involved in the development process.

Yes that's because AAM works on GT-Rs and you will pay GT-R prices for that level of service. Feel free to prove me wrong though haha.

(no offense intended of course)
