I usually do more lifting than cardio though. Trying to put on some muscle

You can be as strong as an ox but fall over from a heart attack... you gotta have a strong chore, and that starts with the heart.

m4a1mustang 06-27-2012 06:41 PM

My personal trainer has me on some pretty intense core exercises. Strengthen your core and build from there, I guess.

b1adesofcha0s 06-27-2012 06:44 PM

It's not like I ignore cardio completely. I have one cardio session per workout cycle, which is like 3-4 days per week for me usually. Been busy with weddings and stuff for the past two weeks so I didn't get to go as much and ended up eating worse than usual.

m4a1mustang 06-27-2012 06:52 PM

My one day of eating crazy will be at the BBQ. It's like in Pirates of the Caribbean where you can only come to shore once every 10 years.

b1adesofcha0s 06-27-2012 06:59 PM

Hey Steve, if you don't mind can you PM me some of the core exercises you do? I've been trying to find some better exercises to work out my abs.

m4a1mustang 06-27-2012 07:13 PM

Most of them are ones where you use a weight ball on the floor so I'm not sure how well I can explain them.

If you know the name of the exercise, I can look It up myself. Send me some if you can otherwise you can just tell me at the BBQ.

b1adesofcha0s 06-27-2012 07:19 PM

Or you could make a video if yourself doing them and send it to me :icon17:

Even if you're in perfectly fit shape, genetics can catch up to you and strike you down of HBP, high cholesterol, or diabetes. Obviously, being fit lessens the severity, but it doesn't completely prevent them.

Exactly, I work out all the time, but my entire family has hbp and high cholesterol, and im no different.. Genetics can be a bitch.

The cholesterol is partly to what I eat though. I eat pretty unhealthy.

Same here. I'm trying to get really fit now by exercising and trying to eat healthier and try to reduce and delay that as much as possible. My parents don't exactly have the healthiest diet so I'm trying to do better than they did and get everything right before I start having the health issues. Preventative changes instead of reactive.

I never 'wonder' why when Steevie, Shado, Eastwest, Blades, and bobo are around... I'd actually wonder why it wasn't hurting after that... :ugh2:

Looks like it. It's got the new grille for cooling/aero.

m4a1mustang 06-28-2012 11:02 AM

Also, figured this is a good time to ask. Is there anybody that is coming to the BBQ but is NOT listed on the attendance list (post #2)?
