I liked the fact that they are annealed, they should last longer wrt reloading.
I'm staying supersonic for now.
When I get back, if you need some primers for let me know.
I have some CCI No. 41s I might be willing to part with.
I like EOTechs, have one on my ACR (EXSP3-2).
I do have an Aimpoint Mirco H1 and T1 as well, love them both especially their size.
Since my 300BLK build is leaning more towards taking out tasty critters I'm putting a scope on it.
I found the pics of your 300BLK AR-15...Nice!
Wouldn't mind seeing that Surefire in action once your stamp comes in.

Yup. Annealing is super important especially when converting. I'm going to build a little motorized machine with two torches to anneal. I think I'll do it each time for 3-4 firings then once every 2-3 firings after. Gotta keep that brass nice!

Yeah I can't wait for that stamp. Freakin' government shutdown is going to delay an already delayed process. Oh well. It's all paid for. Just waiting. Crazy thing is that it is already quiet as hell with subs. I was trying to go for "hollywood" quiet, and it can be done. But in the end the compact size war won. 4" of overhang is pretty damn good!

Speaking of 300BLK stuff...

MidwayUSA just got some of the coveted and very hard to find Barnes 300 AAC Blackout VOR-TX Ammunition in.
Going for $30.99 a box of 20.
Link: Barnes 300 AAC Blackout VOR-TX Ammo
Grabbed a few boxes before they sold out again! :happydance:

Better hurry if you want to get some!

Nutnfancy has a Z!

I bet most of you guys have heard of Nutnfacy on YouTube.
Does great reviews on guns and other sporting equipment.
Also give out some great advice as well (IMO) on various things.
He post videos of his other hobbies too.

Well he has a Z.
Is not a 370Z but we won't fault him for that!:stirthepot:
Its a turbo'ed 350Z.
Interesting set up.
Gave me a laugh.
A car review Nutnfancy style!

Anyone interested in signing up for a Chris Costa carbine or handgun manipulation course next summer? I'm thinking about taking a few days for vacation and doing this. Learn a lot and get to enjoy the outdoors too. And, it ain't really all that expensive. It'd be cool to get one or two other guys from here out there at the same time. Kill like, six birds with one stone.

^^^^

Any idea on time and place?

Wouldn't mind attending any of his classes but my schedule is very limiting.
For me, the class must be with in reasonable driving distance.
Not taking any my guns through an airport.

Oh. Definitely taking guns through the airport. lol. And ammo. Like, 2,000+ rounds worth.:rofl2:

It is also in Wyoming. This would be one of his more personal one-on-one courses. Not entirely, but the class sizes are so damn small they really kind of are. I think this is the place where they filmed the Art of the Carbine videos. Anyhow, yeah, not local at all. All of the other courses I found were in freakin' Vegas and they were not during any dates that I would call convenient. And I'm not going to Vegas to shoot.

There are other company's to consider like Magpul Dynamics and Haley Strategic Partners (Travis Haley's company).
I took a quick look at Haley Strategic's schedule.
They don't have 2014 up yet but based off their 2013 calender they're more on this side of the country (NC,LA,TN).

Good idear! I forgot about Haley. Magpul was one of my original intentions but I wanted to ensure I actually got Chris or Haley. Not one of the random instructors. I'll check out haleys stuff. Hopefully something will come up.

Would recommend a Vickers class if you can.

Haley was just in Maryland not too long ago running a training course for Engage Armament. A couple of my buddies are sponsored by Engage, but they opted not to attend.

I've seen Haley and Ron Avery partner for pistol. Ron Avery knows what he's talking about (he's probably one of - if not THE best pistol instructor out there), but he varies his curriculum year to year, which can be frustrating if you attend his class more than once.
