I agree. The 10-22 should be in every gun owners inventory. Or at least a .22 rifle. I have a 10-22 and a Smith and Wesson 15-22 (which is a .22 that looks just like an AR-15) and like shooting them both.

going to the range in Chantilly this afternoon if anyone is up for it - see you there.

I went to Freestate gun range yesterday with my fiancee. VERY nice range. Turns out, you can shoot 7.62x39 there, also.

Fellas, I finally got to Zero my AR-15 and shot it twice at two different locations while I was in Florida this past weekend. I'll try to post up the target, I was all center mass.. very very nice!

:iagree: Neat shot gun but it needs a lot of polishing.
Seen a lot of reviews with cycling issues.
Nutnfancy being the worst.
FPSRussia broke 2 out of the 3 he had for review.

IMO I rather have a KSG.

Did you mean "Recoil" instead of "recall"?

If so, the recoil on my KSG is not much worse than an 870. I actually think it is easier, as you can control the postion of the stock in your shoulder pocket easier with bullpup design than a typical longer shotgun. I have not handled a UTAS shotgun though...

I'll be happy to bring my KSG to the MAZOC range trip I will be coordinating in June or July. The only thing about that is you will have to fire slugs at that range, which do kick more that bird/buck shot. I actually have some shortie slug shells that have a mich lighter kick as well.

nice... shooting my shotgun for the first time was pretty badass.. my friends liked firing it too.

First time posting a video from youtube, so I hope it works.

This video was taken of me at the Tarheel 3 Gun Challenge in North Carolina this past March. 3 gun competitions are kinda self-explanitory, in that you're using 3 guns (pistol, shotgun, and a semi-automatic rifle). The ones I'm using in this video are a Glock 34 (with more mods than my 370), a Mossberg 930 JM Pro series shotgun, and an ar-15 that I assembled for $600 (before the rush to buy firearms began in December of last year :shakes head:).

In the video, the plate rack is set up at 50 yards, then the long range steel targets were placed at 130 yds, 230 yds, and 300 yds (shot in that order).

This competition was my second 3 gun competition ever, and my third shooting competition. I placed 132nd of 271 competitors.

If you guys are gonna do a MAZOC day at the range, let me know and I'll bring some other gear.

Lots of nice weaponry in this thread btw...

eastwest2300 05-31-2013 10:15 AM

Steve, nice shooting.

Crux 05-31-2013 10:17 AM

you can also check gunbot.net

You probably won't find anything under $1.00/round. Everyone is panic buying. I suggest waiting until everyone begins selling their stockpiles.
