I wrote Santa damn letters for years when I was little, asking for him to get me a MOTOR go kart. it started subtle. then my demands for the dang thing gradually grew as I all capped my words and darkened my words with sharpie, so that Mr. Claus will surely not miss it THIS year, unlike the previous 8.

still my demands remain unchanged...

Just picked up an 8' Christmas Tree :happydance:

Had to go smaller than usual thanks to some financial obligations that are due before the end of the year. But I'm not  - I remember ceilings in the past where a 6' tree was my limit.

I picked up a little 4' ladder about a month ago to install an electrical outlet for our new garage door motor, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't also think about my big Christmas trees when I bought it :icon17:

I just got ours set up in the stand and watered and was thinking to myself how it's actually comparable in height to some of our previous trees. But the price was lower, and it shows in the shape of the lower portion of the tree. It's not as big around and doesn't have that crisp sloping shape I usually go for. But for $90 I won't complain
