so i ordered some generic thermostat for the older fit...

the factory one prematurely failed, so why bother replacing it with the same one, right?

ive never had a thermostat fail on any of my cars... must be the repeated short distance driving my wife does?

yah, i went with tamiya's this time because their kits are just frikken cool to look at too.

i use to run HPI and AE exclusively for racing but tamiya's have always been my go to rc for just screwing around.

clifford- btw, i did the painting by brush... i used the generic testor's plastic handle nylon bristle brush. is there any brushes you recommend for painiting larger areas?

the guy's helmet was about a size of a pingpong ball, and so i chose to use flat paint trying to hide brush strokes.
