i dont get why people get those intakes unless it was the R2C.

I agree. I think the best intake choices are the Stillen Gen III or the R2C. People steer away from the Gen II because of the bumper removal task, which turns out to be extremely straightforward and easy.

 the r2c for me was good, but the noise was kinda like flushing a urinal each time i wot. :D hahahaha.

i use the stock box, kn drop-ins, and post-maf tube. nice breathing up to redline. :p

I like my R2C black nickel intakes. And the new black mesh filter they recently released looks :yum: on my Z, too

I can't say mine sounds like a flushing urinal at WOT, but I haven't tried out every model of urinal there is :icon17:

Yesterday's trip to Houston was :ugh2:

I spent over five hours on site doing my inspection, which is significantly longer than usual, even for a six story building. I managed to cruise there and home safely with minimal traffic outside of Houston. Although the Z was running pretty hot on the ride home. I found a truck willing to go 95 on I-35 until oil temps started creeping past 240F towards 250F and I backed off to 85. Due to the oil temps, I plan to change it next weekend after I return from DC.

I like when my car makes toilet sounds. At my age I need all the motivation I can get. Running water does the trick as well.

I run the Gen III's and like them quite a bit. On my 40th (RIP) I ran the Gen II because, like so many others, I was intimidated by the fascia removal. No longer. The Gen II was significantly louder.
