Been using my straight razor for about 2 years now... and only recently have I been able to strop a lot more effectively!

But alas she be tugging again and needs a bit of a refresher on the wetstone and then should be good as new.

I honestly thought there were parties where people get together to cut and share coupons. You know, that could be a thing in this day and age. There is probably a reality tv show about it.

Happy saving!

I'm sure it exists!

I haven't the courage to go straight razor just yet... I have the old style "safety" razor and that does well for during the work week. I do love splurging and going to the barber to get a shave with a straight edge

Gentleman, its twice a month for my hair cut and style. The barber is
old school and has the straight edge razor for the brave and a steady
head. Its as close as a shave man can go. Its a extra 10.00 dollars
but it is a neat experience. Give this one a try............

Sadly and to my dismay I am follicly challenged... ok i'm going fcking bald :icon17: I just shave my head once a week and call it good. I make a special trip to the barber just for a great shave about once a month as a treat to myself. Nothing like the old style barber shops

Madwi, for now its a full head of hair. The ritual of every two weeks of having
a hair cut and style is very boring. At Intel a few years back I shaved my
whole head for a cancer fund raiser. It was a neat look and what the hell
my head shaved clean had no dents or craters. I plan on shaving my
bone head again this December and again for a cancer fund raiser..

 The plus side to it is take a shower, shave the face and go out the door. No styling or bad hair days and extra few minutes to sleep in :rofl2:

I am the only IT person at night so everyone gets to know me pretty well, even if I don't want them to :icon17: Looking at it positively, I worked out a deal with security so I will fix their issues on the DL and they in turn don't look for a Physician parking tag on the Z when I park in their lot
