so ive been playing with the sprintbooster for the last several weeks and i think i can finally say that i like it. :D

problem with it was that the multiplier angle is steep, so even the 'sport' map is pretty
aggressive. had to learn the throttle curve on my right foot again, but after getting that
down, i luv the instant throttle response to my inputs. :D

i can tap the gas even a little bit, and the throttle immediately responds.
and it seems to keep the ecu out of economy mode even after cruising down a 55mph
road for 5-10min. :D that was the last piece of the puzzle for me on my Z.

:icon17: problem with fastfood stops is that you end up buying a drink needing more stops along the way..lol

Here we go again another story. I was in route to Lake Tahoe and had
to pull
off high way 50 to tinkle....When I entered this mom and pop stop
the counter person said no free tinkle unless you buy gas or a food
item...I smiled and made a run for the back of the store..........

You are a bigger gentleman than I because my answer to this has always been to leave the store, go around back and relieve myself there.

oh, it's a plug and play throttle controller that plugs in between the gas pedal and the harness going to the ECU.

wat it does is it takes the voltage from the gas pedal and multiplies the voltage so that it gives
larger voltage output than wat you're putting in.

so say for example you are stepping on the gas linearly like this:
1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4v

the output from the sprint booster would be like 1, 1.75, 2.5, 3.25, 4v

:icon18:

The ECU is the thing that gets fried when a thermonuclear device detonates close and high enough to create EMP (electromagnetic pulse) rendering your Z inoperative. That is why I keep my 1971 240Z in good running order. No electronics = freedom of travel in the post apocalyptic world.

Here is a thought. I bought a 46" inch 1080 Toshiba six years ago..
Price then $3600.00 a 2014 55" inch 1080 LED back lit cost $900.00
the old 46" inch Toshiba wasted 2.5 inch all the way around like
a picture frame..The new 55" inch Toshiba is all screen with no
borders... i.e. The 55" inch Toshiba is the same form factor as
my old 46" inch Toshiba....Technology moves forward..........

yah, i have a 49" sharp TV in my living room. it's definitely light weight,
decent picture vs my old LCD's and was cheap. :icon17:

but i still prefer my little 23" computer LCD i have in my music room to watch
1080 because it's just simply a better display. :p

Apple computer spent millions on a survey a few years back. The perfect
size - form factor of a LCD viewing screen is 23" inchs... You were right
in your selection...
