you might get lucky and have a knob without too much threadlock on it.

the knob i was using in my G i bought from a local Z guy. he was able to get his off without much force.

On my xd the knob woulld just unscrew. No thread lock. :/

yah, same with my fit. i run the factory leather knob on mine. was a easy 1-2-3. no need to hold the shaft either.

i think the stock z knob is real nice though. unless you got like scratches or something on yours, i'd just keep it stock.
