Perhaps, or maybe im just conscious of my expenses. With most things I buy I research things a lot before pulling the trigger. Its my means of making sure 1. I really need/want something 2. Im getting the best product for the price im willing to pay.

Some people only do this when buying large items (houses & cars). I apply it to everything.

same for me. even a $50 2.1 BT speaker i was thinking about putting in the garage i thought it through 7-8months.

then pulled the trigger on the sony BT box later on. yah, it costs more, but i dont care. i made a great choice for thinking it through bought a few more for my other rooms too. doesnt mean i dont have money. just means i think it through.

It's funny sometimes how we rationalize expenses. I've often caught myself questioning whether I really want to spend $150 on a new pair of shoes now or wait for a sale. Then I go buy $300 in car parts without thinking twice.
