Well, moved the chicks to garage yesterday (lol-one of them got out and was running loose in our living room), soo checked to make sure they were warm, fed kitties, lunch, LGSST, outside for a bit cleaning up yucky landscaping until it started to spit rain-then little sleety snow balls, then snow, good lord. Lol

HVAC/Radio/Nav Control Issue

I'm ready for the onslaught of smart-arse, useless responses, and the "Google it" comments. Google came up with only something close to what I am experiencing.

Any help would be appreciated.

that's a tuff one to diagnose without seeing the car, but i think i would remove any wiring you put on the nav unit before taking the car in is a good idea.

(it might also fix your problem).

i remember a long time ago some folks were wiring their G35C's side markers to blink with the turn signals. it worked great at first, but after a while people were going in for control module damage. lol kinda reminded me of that issue.

I had a similar problem with my HU when i first installed it. It would shut down-just totally black out. No probs w hvac though. I think we just totally reset the HU-total power down. But i don't remember how we did it.
Did you try that (probably but Im asking anyway).
