60% of the time, it works every time. :rofl2:

It's amazing how fast a ~2700lb car can be.

That's romance right there.

Brookstone has a solid selection.

Double date with some friends, she just messaged and asked if we can go dancing afterwards but dinner is not until 8:30 and with our friends we usually eat/drink for a good 2-3 hours so might skip on that.
Gifts, I got her a picture collage thing she wanted and specifically asked for, will probably work up something to do on the day of like some flowers.

haha well I will fire it up to charge the batteries while we watch the shows. That little 1.3L is faster than my turbo'd 370. Its an amazing car haha.

Until it breaks, which is every 1000 miles

That's pretty legit, really is romance right there

It kinda makes sense. A woman and a FD are both not working one week out of every month.

I don't know... One of my friends' was sitting for 8 months... Got everything rebuilt, 1000 break in miles, motor popped shortly thereafter. The car has bankrupted him. All my other friends with RX7s have DDs because their RX7 is broken in the garage...

Actually, one spent 8k on a rebuild 6 months ago, less than 1000 miles... Already has problems

Chuck33079 02-12-2014 11:11 AM

That's why people put LS1s in them. It's the only good part of a Chevy fixing the only bad part of the FD. :rofl2:

Mitco39 02-12-2014 11:13 AM

This FD she has she has not touched it and put on about 5-6000kms (~4000miles) on it and so far it has not missed a beat. I gotta say that rotary engine is something out of a dream. Albeit a short dream lol, but man its impressive.

It helps when shes a automotive mechanic and does all her own work to the car. If it pops she'll just rebuild it herself.

Except when you do a LS1 its like adding a diesel engine to a gas pickup, or having 10 fat people sit on your hood while you drive around. haha

I thought the LS was pretty close to the weight of the rotary and all of the turbo plumbing?

saber 02-12-2014 11:15 AM

you think the FD is bad, how about the FC? Every FC driver out there is single because that car bankrupts them...

V-Day plans: study for midterm the next day. Good thing she's in the same class as me so she's not complaining :rofl2: I'll make it up to her on Sunday.

Lol, I hope I doesn't skip a beat!!!
And you're giving that POS too much credit (the engine.) It's smooth, but that's it. The car makes no torque, ever... Oh, 500WHP, 240ft lbs torque, lol
