ahh dude, I had an '05 600, '07 600, and a Yamaha R6.. (not all at once, but over the course of 5 years..

I loved riding too, BUT after losing 4 friends on them, I knew it was time to give it up, and I did..

I can tell you this, the '05 600s top speed is 177mph.. (i've done it, and held it for Im guessing 45 seconds to minute)

I love the '06.. I'm not about fast or stupid. I just like to ride.

I've had mine up to 154 MPH.. by accident. :eek:

I agree with you on that, but man its soooo easy to go from loving to ride being fast, stupid, and reckless.

brother, a 177mph on a motorcycle is intense.. it really is.

which is why id never go that fast lol no protection whatsoever with that speed....I can practically hear the dramatic background music

Same here lost two people I know so I stay away…….. I know I would be one eventually I have a need for speed! Whether it's on a bike in a car or on my snowboard speed is such a rush!

A buddy let me ride his R6 a couple times(3). When I started getting confident/cocky I looked down the last time I rode and saw I was doing 100-105 mph and I didn't/don't have my motorcycle license :icon14:

I know if I owned one it would be stupid….. plus I would want a big one like an R1 or a hayabusa

It is deceiving looking out the window it's nice and sunny looks like a nice day. Then you step out side and just want to turn right around!

its deceiving when you look outside and see a absolute terror of a blizzard whipping around the house and think yep......going to work... not.:bowrofl:

I now its literally chunks of snow falling lol and the worst of it isn't supposed to hit until 4 pm
