Default Any insight on Nissan's Dechard, TN plant

So one of Nissan's HR reps called me expressing interest in a resume I submitted for a Maintenance Supervisor position at their Decherd TN plant. After 14 years in the aeronautical industry I'm looking for a change and I've heard nothing but good things regarding Nissan Corp as an employer. Should be hearing from the hiring manager in the next couple of weeks.

Anyone live down in that area and can tell me a little about it? From doing some digging online it looks like Decherd and Winchester are small little towns and that's a bonus. Living in the DC area makes me want to blow my brains out on a daily basis so small town living looks better every day.

Bonus points if anyone on here actually works at the plant there and can give some insight.

Don't know about Nissan so much. What I can tell you (coming from an OEM Honda Toyota supplier) jobs at the Japanese plants are like gold, people stay there when they get hired because its usually a great place to work. Very organized and well run places. If you can get in initially as full time (not through a temp agency) even better.
Nuclear could learn a lot from them.
