Some people think Rocky Mountain Oysters (bull testicles) are gross. But I've had them, and they were delicious :yum:

Balut anyone? I had this a few times when I was a kid, but not having seen in person for 15+ years, this stuff makes me gag thinking about it.

I'm convinced a lot of those dishes started out as a bet. :rofl2:

Zbrah 11-13-2013 05:29 PM

I agree. Like a dare, I think that's how I had my first one lol

Edit: I remember all the Vietnamese girls loved it, I didn't want to look like a wimp in front of everyone.

Fried crickets in a Mescal Bar in Mexico:

A note about eating fried crickets: it's a bit like eating corn; you need to chew your food. I woke up the next morning with a raging turd-on. I dropped anchor only to look down and see that my turds had legs. Hundreds and hundreds of un-digested and un-chewed legs. My turds could have beaten Carl Lewis in the 100 m.

Wow. So that's one of the foulest things I have ever read.

Fuckin ew...

Snake I had once in AZ, it was good

Chuck33079 11-13-2013 06:15 PM

Snake is good. Fried rattlesnake is fantastic. There's a place around here that makes python chili and its great. I draw the line at bugs.

Zbrah 11-13-2013 06:16 PM

WTH are those! they look like some juiced up bed bugs. How was it? I hope you didn't get sick. I would imagine it's difficult to turn down such an offer from your business clients lol

kenchan 11-13-2013 06:22 PM

mmmm... grasshoppers. :yum: actually not grasshoppers, inago.

i didnt know wat they were but ate them as a kid. considering crabs and shrimp are
insects of the sea, not sure wat the big deal is eating bugs. :icon17:

I don't know what they're called. Basically waterborne cockroaches (atleast that's what the person kept calling them).
