the only cons is.. (also the main reason I don't like Tamiya..) the hop-ups cost much more than the kit...
yah, tamiya's are like toyota's in my mind .. im not a big fan either, but they have a lot of the ordinary folk non-competition style cars too which is great for just screwing around the local parking lot or park or watnot.

ive watched some of those tamiya races in LA. was fun to watch.

I have to admit they made the most detailed R/C body, not the most functional but surely the most realistic

too bad Tamiya has canceled the TCS due to economy crisis.. because it is one of the most attractive series in the industry.

i should plasti-dip the receiver and drive my wildwilly2 in the snow. jk
