you can stream the media contents from your computer, you can also play media contents from your smartphone directly to the tv.


but... I will strongly suggest connect the tv to the router by hard wire.

Well that kind of defeats the purpose of having WI-fi then, doesn't it?
It's a little late for that. I finished the walls.

With wifi, it buffers the content..so if you have 802.11n or 802.11ac then you should b fine.
