I wish I lived in Europe. You get a lot more stuff with the signature edition than the collector's edition here.

Do you know if GT5 will require to use the latest PS3 firmware ? I dont care about the PSN, but I would like to keep the "Install OS" option, so I dont want to flash the PS3.

A lot of people are speculating that the reason for the delay was to make the game require the current firmware because of the recent hack that came out. I can let you know if its going to ask me to update my ps3 when I get it though.

Even if the reason for the delay was NOT to require higher firmware. I'm sure the firmware on GT5 would at least be 3.41

Yep, I read that the sole reason for the latest delay was so that the game discs could be made with v. 3.50.

I'm not sure about this but you might be able to play it with firmware 3.14 since you don't care about playing online.
There's a payload for the Jailbreak that spoofs firmware 3.50.
Might be worth looking into. I'm not entirely sure though.

I am going to receive soon a PS3Yes! dongle, so I hope to find a payload which can spoof the latest firmware, even if it's not giving me the PSN access.

I'd like to find a wheel that could be retrofitted to my Forza Playseat...take the MS wheel off it... dunno, though...

They sell it with G27's, DF-GT's and a Porsche-Clubman. So I think you should be able to change it...

I lost prologue because I shared it using my friend's psn account and I forgot his login.

My copy of GT5 should be waiting at my house soon. Got it for $30 :) Too bad I can't play it for a month :mad:

I got my GT5 collectors edition at midnight at Gamestop manager hooked me up since I reserved and paid in full for 2 copies.. I will post up pics soon!! This game is the best game ever made
