I'm thinking they're the same ones we have here in TX. I'm usually not one for advocating the destruction of an entire species, but we could do without those little bastards.

Glad I can reload different "loads (haha)" loads of different calibers, dogdamn it, now they are on to me :rofl2: I feel like a part of me now resides in UT. :( makes me sad lol.

Yeah these were more like carpenter type ants, big black bodies...(no I didn't say Detroit carpenters :roflpuke2: )

Chuck33079 09-12-2013 12:07 PM

Reloading was a problem too. Primers are still tough to find, but it's slowly getting better. For months I had a huge stockpile of brass, bullets and powder with no primers at all. It was seriously pissing me off. At least now I can play with the other pistols until .22lr is readily available.

Yeah, they're the ones. They're actually proof against intelligent design. No benevolent creator could have willingly created such a creature.

I've got a bunch, but I'm not shooting it because it's hard to replace. I'm ***-deep in .45acp, so at least I've got something to shoot.

I know man, and I dont wanna pay out the ying yang to get my hands on what I need, so im gonna hold what I got, which isnt much.

Chuck33079 09-12-2013 12:18 PM

I'm almost tempted to go buy something that shoots one of the off-the-wall calibers that's always in stock. I'm finding .17HMR everywhere.

.380 auto has been very cheap and easy to reload.

Chuck33079 09-12-2013 12:24 PM

I've got a .380 stuffed in the back of the safe somewhere. Hmm. Might have to dig it out and take it shooting. At a target 18" away. And struggle to hit center of mass. Keltecs are awesome. :rofl2:

I haven't been to the range all summer. It's an outdoor range. You'll fill up your safety glasses with sweat. I'll start back up in a week or two when it's not miserable out. I've got a new red dot for a rifle to sight in, and two or three new(ish) pistols to try out.

:ugh2: :roflpuke2: I have a couple .380 autos and I used to carry one when I lived in central pheonix and working on construction jobs.

I think we pay about $300 a year here for our range. The range rents out its fields to multiple law enforcement agencies. I have to say they have ALWAYS put money back into the club through charity events and social awareness of good causes  When I can blow through 2 belts of M60 ammo with a cheering crowd...I just want to salute everyone lol.

I consider myself a good shot, and I am absolutely worthless with the little tiny gun. The .380 would be more accurate if I threw it at the attacker. I've got a couple of .38 snubbies, and they're not too bad. Except the S&W titanium one. In .357 it is the most unpleasant thing I've ever shot. Your hand hurt for days after shooting it.

Mine is $140 a year, but they don't let you shoot anything full auto. But it's always deserted. A busy day is ten people out there. It's glorious.

I am a consultant for Federal Premium Ammunition here in Anoka, MN and in Lewiston, ID. It is frustrating seeing the literally millions of rounds made each day and I cannot get a single one because I am not an employee. I got a one-time deal on some .40 but that likely will not happen again.

As I write this. I am only about 75 feet from the finished goods warehouse/distribution center. It is more than 300,000 square feet of goodness.

Damn, I have to beg the club to let me pick up brass in the sizes I can recycle!
