I am in West Michigan about 30 miles from Lake Michigan. I am starting to see some of the smaller trees starting to turn yellowish...almost time to go buy a battery tender for the winter. That is a depressing thought.

I really like the front. The rear I am not a big fan of, I am a HUGE Zele fan with the longer but not as high cutouts. Please don't take that as I think it sucks! It looks really good.

yah, battery tender and if you want, Sta-bil. i tried it last year in my G. had the car hibernating since halloween, took her out in Apr or May. no issues with the gas. :) i added stabil becuase my G has the dreaded filler problem where i can only fill to about 80%.

EPA must've regulated a change on the gas pump nozzle angle or something to prevent over fill. it makes my G over-react. :shakes head: there's this one mobil that i was able to fill her up to full, but they changed the nozzle last year. :mad:

Wow that would piss me off too. I use sta-bil in my gas cans over the winter. I usually have at least four 5 gallon cans for lawn equipment (yes I have lawn service but I use the crap outta leaf blower and riding lawn mower with trailer on the back haha). I have never tried Sta-bil in a vehicle though. I am pretty good about starting the car at least once a week and running it up to temp for a bit. I try to get the half mile to the gas station to fill up again on the nice winter days with NO snow and driveway is not iced over. My driveway would kill me if I backed out of the garage 2 inches on summer tires and there was .0001" of snow on the ground!

when i hibernate my cars, i dont fire up the car at all. the reason is oil temps take a while to reach 180F to rid moisture, plus the steam inside the mid pipe and muffler just accelerates corrosion.

so i just plug the car into my battery manager, place the car on flatstoppers at 42psi, car cover, and that's it. no starts for the 4-6months. i do turn the wheels by hand every 6-7wks just in case to prevent flat spots. :)
