There is some language in here, because we were stupid to be that close to it. A piece of shrapnel flew over my shoulder and hit a car I was standing next to.

No one got hurt, so I can say it was a blast, but def. wouldn't be that close to 2.5lbs of tannerite again.

I know enough about explosives and I've watched enough Mythbusters to know that even if you know what you're doing you can't be too careful with them. That's like the stupid **** we used to do

Haha, well, we had 1.5lbs and blew up a scanner... no problem. It did as it was supposed to and went straight up.

However, I think because we put the tannerite inside the computer and sealed it (just closed it like normal) rather than putting it on top of the tannerite we nearly killed ourselves.

Lessons learned.

My brother in law brought some of that! Omg!! Hilarious when it went off! Made me squeal a bit! It was freaking LOUD!
