Hey jar I was trying to do a search on a DIY you did (I think it was you) but came up with no results. But wasn't it you that painted your side markers recently?

Trying to find the DIY for removal.....

Yup. In fact, I remove them every time I wash the car since it's so easy. There are two tabs that pinch outward to hold the side markers in place.

Being careful not to scratch the paint, slip your fingernail under the marker at the point closest to the front of the car. Push the side marker sideways towards the back of the car. This should release the tab, allowing the front edge of the side marker to pop out where your finger was located. It should pop out either on its own or with just a little leverage using your finger. When I unplug the harness, I just let it fall back into the fender, so I often have to use a tool to fetch it when reinstalling the markers after a wash.

yes and yes :icon17:

The first few times I took them off, I noticed a lot of dirt under them and didn't want to scratch up the paint when removing and reinstalling them. Also, the first time I waxed, I got it all over them and it was a pain to clean up after the fact. Removing them solves both of those problems and is way easier

Misfire cylinder 6, and I slept great after my rant. Thank god for that

How was your night? you had to work right?

Yes I worked last night. Was really tired this morning, now I'm up because I have a "local" guy coming to pic up a pillar. I was expecting him after 3pm, which would have been perfect, but he called and told Mr.Force he would be here in an hour, that was at 1pm. I'm going to be a cranky boy tonight.
