Yesterday I qd'd the z. I must say its such a beautifully designed car.
On a sad note I will eventually need a front bumper repair. Rock chips are getting out of hand.

:iagree: dat azz...eh?!

and +1 on rock chips...I have a pretty good one just on the edge of the hood where it meets the bumper...waiting till the end of the summer to get anythign fixed, auto cross runs till october I think.

yah, my Z has 2 visible knicks and several tiny ones that's not easy to see. im thinking about clearbra'ing the front this summer. :) i should've done this before i installed the ings+, but oh well.

do you remember the guy from Xpel? did he say the "D" at the end of the number was their self-healing one or was it "E" or

When I repaint it, I will clear bar it. No use at this point. I think there are about 20 small chips with maybe 5 large ones.

kenchan 06-27-2013 11:01 AM

yep, i was talking about my bumper. :icon17: :p

kenchan 06-27-2013 11:20 AM

looking at the xpel site, the self healing one is the Ultimate. so the kit should have a "U" at the very end.

the one im getting ends with "D." i dont really need the ultimate as my Z is garaged most of the time anyway. :)

kenchan 06-27-2013 11:26 AM

and the kit is ordered. :icon17:

Nice

hey there, LMB! yah, my G could use a light re-spray for sure on the front bumper. driving her through one winter added like 3yrs of age on the front bumper and undercarriage. :shakes head: never doing that s- again.

i dont want the same thing happening to my Z. will keep her garaged and motor my G until i get the clearbra installed hopefully next week. :) my car is silver so that helps in hiding minor imperfections.

I've got a clear bra on the front of my car so that's not a problem, but my side skirts are scratched to hell and back :(

I survived Zdayz 2013

(barely)

Kenchan, where did you get yours? I found some of the 3M stuff on amazon I was thinking about getting after I repaint my side skirts.

Same here. I try not to look at my side skirts to much. The damage can only be seen or felt when basically lying in the ground so it's not huge issue but still bothers me
