You'll get the hang of it. Usually biggest mistake I have seen is people try to shift too fast as in no letting the rpms drop enough.

That's exactly my issue. Normal driving I'm pretty good but when getting on it, I get too ahead of myself and let it out fast. Need to make a conscious effort to wait, all that bucking can't be good for the drive train

LMBmikeZ 07-21-2013 09:24 PM

not sure if any one is looking for black rear 370z badges but I found these and they seem like a good deal <$20 shipped up to Canada even I figured why not :ugh2: will go with my front and rear black w/CF Z badges and I can keep the OEM ones untouched incase I want to go back.......now I just need another set of door handles so I can have a OEM set and a black set :icon17:

Nissan 370Z Trunk Emblem Badge Gloss Black | eBay

Practice will make perfect as they say  Especially that 1-2 shift, you have to slow it down some.

I did! 2002 1.8. Was my first car and what I learned to wrench on. My sister is driving it now but I should be getting it back just time to put the Z away for winter. Its a slow little car but i loved it!

Hey all! How're things this morning? Safe travels Mr. Onzedge.

It's beautiful out this morning. 73° and the sun is just starting to peek above the back fence. Can I stay home? :)

Morning Zer's :hello:

Drove the Z last night/this morning. Heavy traffic last night and police coming out of he woodwork this morning, resulting in an extremely tame drive. But at least it was in the Z

When i got back into town this morning, I had a guy in a Toyota mini van compliment my car while at a red light, I said thank you, then he proceeded to "gun it" as the light turned green. I would normally oblige him but two police vehicles had just pulled out from the coffee shop half a block up from us. I'm not sure if the mini van driver didn't see them, or is retarded. :ugh2:

Do you know how you can make those noises that sound like passing gas/bowel movements by putting your mouth against your arm and blowing? The next time you travel on a plane, make your way to the lavatory (first class one is best).

Once there, start making those sounds as loud as possible, and in between each burst, say things like "holy mother of God", "sweet baby Jesus". "ahhhhhh", "help me, Kenchan", etc.

When you leave and are strolling down the aisle, make sure you have a satisfied look on your face and maybe even give the first person who makes eye-contact with you the thumbs up.

It's fun!!!

Also, walking back to your seat with your zipper down and a trail of toilet paper hanging out from the back of your pants adds to the legitimacy of this scenario.
