One time, I took off my sandals and my feet were so dirty they left footprints on the carpet. She made me go wash my feet off, which I did. When I was done, I showed her my feet, and she told me to put my sandals back on :icon17: She now calls me Blackfoot and requires that I break tradition by always wearing my shoes inside their home :bowrofl:

:icon18: ewwww! Jar!! you are so funny! One of my sisters tried that no shoe thing in her new house. made my mom really mad...she wouldnt go back to her house for the longest time because of it. But it was moslty the snotty way my sister approached it...kinda funny to watch because mom is usually mad at ME!

That and I didn't eat dinner last night. I thought about it on my way home from my parents (@ 10:30p), but figured... nahhhhh, I'm too tired. I'll just eat tomorrow. :eekdance:

I was starving at the time too.

So yeah, I haven't had but a couple of saltine crackers & peanut butter since noon yesterday (lunch).

:bowrofl: Yep! I just tell myself that I'm not hungry and after a few min. I forget that I ever was hungry.

It's not good, but not bad either!

My soles are almost black because I walk around barefoot and callouses develop over the dirt. I can wash them off and they'll still be black :tiphat:

For a while, I would leave my shoes on because I knew my feet were dirty. But she kept getting mad at me for doing that, so I just finally said screw it and took them off and left dirty footprints on their nice white carpet  She learned her lesson :icon17:

:icon18: hahaha. yah, my house is also shoe-free. where i come from, it's actually offensive to arrive at someone's house without socks on. :icon17: but these traditions are wearing off cause ive had several younger folks arrive without socks.

i like how my plumber comes and puts on those shoe cap thingies.... they're dirty as hell so probably cleaner for him to just walk in his shoes. :icon17:

Most people do enjoy eating. To me it's just a waste of time. I could be doing something else.

I only do it, because I have to, to stay alive. :icon17: :ugh2: Sure, I enjoy some foods (like delicious steaks), but I'm content just getting by on less expensive type of meals.

Really? I did not know that... my Asian friends usually inform me of details like that cause a lot of them have parents that came over to the US very late in life and don't even speak English. So I should carry around an extra pair of socks, and exchange my sandals for socks when I enter their house?

You should keep disposable ones around... one time use only

:(

Whyyyy?

Just 'cause I don't like to spend time eating?

That's okay I guess. I am a picky eater anyways, wasn't ever a real "foodie". :icon17:

Just think of me as correcting the curve for the stereotypical American. :stirthepot:

Never thought I'd have offended people. http://dgold.info/emoticons/green/fist-maniac.gif

I drove my Z today to get some cigarettes. I didn't have to, but the wife's Sentra has been boring me to death in the past few weeks. The 10 minute trip turned out to be a 45 minute journey. I missed my Z so much.
