Yep -- I am in Central time. I need to get out to the plant by 0715.

LMBmikeZ 07-10-2013 05:03 AM

damn that would be hard going from time zone to time zone week after week :icon14:

LMBmikeZ 07-10-2013 05:15 AM

does anyone know how the front or rear NISSAN emblem are attached? I want to know if either one is riveted/plastic post or is it just adhesive like the 370z badges

:hello:

Morning!

Discount said that they don't believe it was there machine, but are going to take care of it anyways.

Said it's about $100 worth of work. He's got a call in to the rim repair shop they use to get more info. on how long it would take and stuff.

Hopefully they can do it same day, if not I'll just take the wheel off and bring it to them. I don't want to drive my car on a spare. Looks ugly. :(

LMBmikeZ 07-10-2013 08:46 AM

:iagree: it does look funny driving on our spare.

kenchan 07-10-2013 08:54 AM

Haboob- should only take like 1hr to fix those two spots.

Stupid traffic this am coming into work.

Let's hope. He was saying that the colour of the wheel was difficult to match and sometimes could be a two day job. :eekdance: But he is calling them to find out for certain.

I don't have two days to leave my car damn it.

The front is attached via two sided tape. I know this for a fact as I removed mine. There is a good size indent behind the front emblem. I assume the rear is the same, though I haven't removed it. I might have a picture in my build thread.

Thanks I assumed they were like that but nothing and up in search..... I imagine the rear has a post/rivet I know my other Nissans did for the rear anyway.
