kenchan 06-06-2013 01:14 PM

when i visit japan, all this fish is great the first couple of days... then im craving for good ol' american burger and dogs...which they dont have. :ugh2:

so i go to a tonkatsu place. :yum:

Haboob 06-06-2013 01:15 PM

Hrm... the jury is out on that tonkatsu. It looks kind of good.

Is it sweet and/or salty like most other Asian foods (at least to me, which is why I don't eat Asian food)?

KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid  :icon17:

Start with basic bread, meat, and cheese. If you want veggies, stick with the basics to start as well: lettuce, tomato, pickles (lots of people like onions too). Don't try any crazy variations to start with. Once you nail down good basics of what you like, you can start experimenting with different breads, various or multiple kinds of meats, and different veggies like sprouts or olives. If you use mayonnaise or mustard on your basic sandwich, try lightening up on those condomints (lol boobZ) or leaving it dry when you first try new variations of bread or meat or veggies.

Sometimes you just have to take it raw. :ugh2: :icon17:

I was once a sweet, innocent, young-looking man.

not sweet or salty. it's pork cutlet and you put a special tonkatu sauce on it which is kinda sweetish flavor but not sweet.

honestly "asian food" is too general. cause i dont eat thai food or vietnamese.

Just spoke with the dealership. The headliner is finished, and my service rep said he personally checked it and says I will be pleased with the work

It's not quite ready because I'm having them take care of the state inspection for me as well. I am going to try to pick it up this afternoon though :excited:
