Haven't seen a thread like this here yet, figure I'd start one up ! What field do you guys work in ? Any cool experiences you care to share ? Advice for those getting into the industry ? etc.

I'm a Mechanical Engineer, graduated this past december with my bachelor's degree and a Minor in Manufacturing. Worked as a machinist/welder prior to that for about three years. Currently working for an Outdoor Advertising/Steel Fabrication company !

+ During the nights and weekends I'm a nightclub DJ

According to SWMBO, my head occupies my ar5e for most of the time.

In reality, I'm 2 years off retirement and still trying to teach junior IT Project Managers how to avoid perpetuating the mistakes of history .....

It only seems like only yesterday that I turned up to start work as a trainee operator and that was 43 years ago ....
