Yup. Don't believe the liberal media when they say that less and less people are owning guns these days, it's the opposite.

I'm in CA, but there is a way to keep a pistol, legally, in my car. Just depends on where I'm going if a pistol also goes with me since I can't legally conceal it on me once I leave the car. Other than that, it's a Leatherman. Always a handy item to keep in a car for many reasons.

:iagree: Especially with the shootings in my own backyard (School shooting), and other gun related scenarios across the USA, I would think they were calling for stricter regulations on gun limitations/control and as a result you would think that would mean less people carrying firearms, but its just the opposite as you mentioned.

But yeah back on topic so we dont deviate the thread into a gun debate since there is a thread for that :tiphat:

... At the same time, in CA, you can carry it unloaded... Watch as the criminal watched you load your gun while he shoots you. It's COMPLETELY worthless. Then you gotta lock it when you drive past a school and 10 other things. Might as well leave it at home...
And they made it illegal to carry handguns open (still no mag) as well... So unless you want to open carry a shotgun or AR15, your gun ain't gonna help you in this state

I know you're a gun fanatic, as am I, but you would be surprised what you can do or get away with when you know the laws very well and still carry in your car effectively ;). But, like I said, it just depends on where I'm going if I decided to or not since it can be cumbersome.

I used to have a psychotic coworker who carried a sword in his car. He was also trained on using it. I swear one day I'm gonna turn on the news to hear that he beheaded someone on the road.

Guys, back on point, OP only asked if you carry anything in case of emergency

You're right. Leatheman MUT and a flashlight. I once had a sledgehammer in the car for a few months that I forgot to take out after coming back from the range, but then realized that it's a bit too much and took it out.

Haven't met, but you were gonna try to go to the range with me one time, but it was already too late or something.

To those 3 out of 22 responses that stayed on topic thank you.

To the rest of you, thanks for ignoring the clear part of the first post that says this is about everything BUT guns. I appreciate you sharing your excitement about the desert eagles, magnum sniper rifles, and bazookas that you stash away in the glove compartment of your Z

Well in Georgia we are allowed to carry our guns ;) and I have a firearms license which allows me to carry it on my persons (or anywhere else in my car) even if I get pulled over.

Sorry that in NY your sling shot must be in a Ziplock bags and stored under the hood.

It is better to follow the law (with legal firearms) than drive around like a teenager with a baseball bat.
