that's actually a good thing for most people like me.

i dont program anything so each time i wake my computer, i want it to be exactly where i left it before.

my computer is exactly like a screwdriver to me. i can't have it changing tip sizes all on this own.

i make money using the computer. i dont make any money figuring out wtf happened to it...

I can understand that

I build my own PC, so when something goes wrong I know who to blame. Luckily, I have been doing it long enough that I generally don't have hardware problems. Software problems are sometimes unavoidable in the PC world, though.

my wife does computers (mainly servers) for a living and she knows the ins and outs of pc's... i only know it's a black computer or a silver one or...

but all the income i have, i only use one thinkpad and a blackberry. the rest is my brain (or the lack of. )
