i remember staying at a hotel long time ago in san bernardino where there were only like 5 guests. it was SUPER spooky... but the staff was real nice. even the head chef at the hotel restaurant came out to pour wine (i still drank back then) while asking how the steak was.

we (guests) shared stories of our trip coming into LA area through the desert that day. it was a f-king windy day i remember.. the haboob.

msbc- any plans for the one year annivarsary?

my 4th annivarsary is coming in august. i shall pamper the Z with 6000rpm clutch dump.

no plans...unless you consider track day the week before

Summary of my year:, turn 50, obtain bachelors degree the same summer as my 22 year old child, get a better paying job, buy a Z car, join a sports car club, join a sports car forum where not only am i older than most but also one of a few women, drive on a race track (april 28)

what a great year i have had

it's one of the fun of owning a real sports car with manual transmission.
