I love PC and would not get a mac computer ever. I consider my opinion to be unbiased though. I happen to own an Ipod, Iphone 4, as well as in the household we have and Ipad4, Iphone4s, Itouch. Additionally I own shares of AAPL so their success is in my advantage. When it comes to desktops though, mac just doesn't cut it for me and doesn't not provide me with what I need, as well as it being overpriced.

Maybe this weekend if Jar is free.

i dont use any apple product other than my MBP. it's a great computer for my needs. music related, watching movies, entertainment.

there are 2 things i like better on my pc... one is the filing (folder structure). second is on win7, you got the Snipping Tool. that is a cool feature.

ive pretty much tried all the major brand pc laptops. to this day, only the i5 thinkpad comes closest to the stability and reliability as my mac's. if ms would stop f-king up my laptops all on their own, i might like it a tad more.

That's because Apple's mantra is, it's a lot easier to make things work when you limit what they can do :stirthepot:

No need. Melody just forgot that I said I was going to help you with the install. She doesn't have a specific time she wants to leave, so as long as we're wrapping up around lunch time or early afternoon, we're good

JARblue 05-22-2013 02:20 PM

BTW, probably best we do the install at my house so I can pull out other tools if we run into issues. Did it come with mounting tape or did you already get some?

that's actually a good thing for most people like me.

i dont program anything so each time i wake my computer, i want it to be exactly where i left it before.

my computer is exactly like a screwdriver to me. i can't have it changing tip sizes all on this own. :icon17:

i make money using the computer. i dont make any money figuring out wtf happened to it...

It might not hurt to have some extra, although I think the screws will hold it just fine. Did it come with the screws as well?

I can understand that :tiphat:

I build my own PC, so when something goes wrong I know who to blame. Luckily, I have been doing it long enough that I generally don't have hardware problems. Software problems are sometimes unavoidable in the PC world, though.

kenchan 05-22-2013 02:35 PM

gotz tracking numbers for my new tires. :D

that's good stuff.

my wife does computers (mainly servers) for a living and she knows the ins and outs of pc's... i only know it's a black computer or a silver one or... :ugh2:

but all the income i have, i only use one thinkpad and a blackberry. the rest is my brain (or the lack of. :icon17: )
