Before or after you get them repaired? If before, I am interested to know how much you're selling them for and how you expect to afford new ones lol

I wish, unfortunately the opposite must happen and I must drink some coffee and stay awake! :ugh2:

I usually make fun of the guy who takes naps outside in his car during lunch breaks, but I could sure use one! :icon17:

RC disease. so wat's your budget, haboob? :)

Looks like I'm going to be spending around $1200 to start up. :eekdance:

Though, my parents thoroughly enjoyed RC racing when I was into it as a wee lad, and have decided to contribute (sponsor) enough to buy a solid transmitter. :excited:

The buggy I'm getting is on backorder though, so I have to go to one of the other local tracks and put a deposit down, since most don't know when their shipment is coming in.

nice! that sounds pretty reasonable, i think, considering you mentioned you have to re-buy everything. :) have you checked online sites like tower hobbies and hobbytown usa and stuff? they might be able to get it sooner.

Yeah. Tower Hobbies doesn't even have it listed at the moment.

A-Main Hobbies has it on back order too. :shakes head:

I found a nice radio I want, but it doesn't have a backlight. I feel that it is necessary to have a backlit transmitter to go faster. :driving: Esp. since I'll primarily be racing indoors, where it's well lit. :icon17:

:icon18: yah, i mean, you have to have all the unnecessary features to make it worthwhile at our(?) age. well, at an age you can easily afford an RC car. you just get the best of the best even if the driving doesn't prove worthy. doesnt matter, out there to have fun and to stick it to them that you got better gear.
