The 750 hp 364c.i. motor in my garage will need frequent rocker adjustment with the solid roller cam. Any fuel injection I use will have to be checked frequently to ensure proper fuel delivery. And I don't plan to be able to do much long distance driving with it I.E. 500 mile trips. That motor makes it's HP without any power adders.

Isa I think you will find if you get your motor over 1000hp you will loose alot of drivability. And will find every weak point in the drivetrain.

If he gets 1000 hp. There are some big hurdles to overcome to hit that number, even then it might not be doable without a engine swap. Hopefully it's not another White Dragon. :icon14:

If anyone can do it, Mu can do it.

do you think I DD my car? lol?

it's a track toy... and you must think me a fool to not rebuild the trans at that point..
we are talking about doing a full trans cryo/rebuild of the trans, looking at different rear ends... Im not walking into unfamiliar territory! lol

hell, I turned a fwd 3g eclipse into a head swapped, turbo monster, that if i hadn't run out of money would have been awd.. I had everything installed.. and ready to go.. i just needed to payfor a custom CF drive shaft...

but I got orders, and ran out of money.. so I sold it, and moved on to Nissans lol

 I appreciate the support..

I really only need 750-800 for track purposes.. however, we would like to break the 1000hp barrier on the VQ just to do it.

GALE!!! There was a VW passat (?) there w a turbo! I heard it coming off the track and it sounded like a pneumatic pop pffff...i was talking to a guy w a Mustang GT and said: what was that?! Did you hear that?! He said real calm..oh yeah-it was "just" his turbo. Lol!!!

They were having issues and wondered what a turbo going bad sounded like. I sooooo wanted to ask you! I bet you know the answer. Not because yours has gone south but because you are o knowledgable about that stuff!
