They also dont have lumbering state govts like the nanny states along with huge welfare and entitlement burdens.

U3 will increase to 10%+ and U6 to 25% which are basically depression levels. Along with this increase will be an increase in prime mortgage defaults as they find themselves underwater. Think suprime was bad? Wait until the ALT-A and Option-ARM resets (at least 2x the size of subprime resets) hit in the next few years!
