Not much new here... Gonna be nice and warm today. Looking forward to getting the Z out soon.

I pulled all my HVAC grates out for the contractor to sandblast & paint (they're old heavy-duty steel ones and they're a little crusty) and they've got my hallway painted, a little more tile done in the bathroom and they finished out the trim around the new glass block window.

The dust and mess is annoying me and I'm ready for it to be done... Hopefully end of this week they'll be getting close. :ugh2:

 yay! pics then?!

Stay tuned for an update of what I think of my switch so far.

 this is one of those watching through your fingers things.....you want to know but you don't ....LOL! seeing as how I just bought the 7D ....of course I don't do nearly enough of anything with mine (yet) to warrant a camera like you bought...at one time I did but that time has passed....

We're talking about a $1000 price difference here! I got the Mark II.
It was actually an easy purchase to make after flipping the 7D.

I'll get the Mark III when the Mark IV comes out :icon17:

WHOOPS!!!

That Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM I bought two weeks ago is a crop sensor lens.
It makes one hell of a vignette on a full frame body!
Hmmm... What to do with a nice fast lens that's only two weeks old? (cough-buyitblackcherry20-cough)

I'm looking forward to your thoughts. I'm sure you won't regret the upgrade. New tech tools are fun

Myself, I have a hard time justifying the cost of going full frame when I've been published (several times) with less. Also a few of my professional photographer friends don't even use full frame and they make their living doing this.

Having said that, if I knew without a doubt that I could make more money by upgrading, I would.
