Fixed.

Hmm. eBay is spotty with things like this, but that's good you got them all from the same place.

Are your LED's and their wiring water proof? Is the blank sealed? That might be something to look at?

I did think about that. Several notes on my install: I was able to use an existing tiny hole in the back of the housing, which originally had a black rubber cap on it. I removed the cap, ran my wiring, and replaced the cap. It still provides excellent protection and probably wouldn't allow water in unless completely submerged. The only other way water might get in was if I didn't do a good enough job sealing the lens back onto the housing, but I'm pretty sure it's just fine. The last precaution was I actually installed the panel on the roof of the housing, so it points down. I also like this because you can't see any of the LEDs through the lens.

Note that I had to remove the wiring for the fog light when I was messing with the license plate lights. The fog light was working just fine up until that point. I have no reason to believe that it is damaged in any way. I just think I need to rewire, which I want to do properly and permanently this time.

Then it sounds like you've thought of most everything on it. Good man.

I really like this part. It's just a solid glow.

:shakes head: :icon18:   Some maybe... not all :icon17:

All of them were previously installed and worked for several years  I have had good luck even with the cheap LEDs on ebay. Even the problems I've had are fixable with a little ingenuity.

I'm with you on that. One mod causes another problem, you fix that but it brings up another problem, and so on, and so on...

IT NEVER ENDS!!

:tiphat: Solid glow FTW. Honestly, one of the reasons I don't like the EVO-R fog light is because it looks like the individual LEDs are so obvious. Is that really the case?

IKR!! Luckily, I've found spray paint, which is very accountant/wife-friendly and can satisfy that recurring desire for moar mods. I'm just trying not to go overboard - if I'm not careful, everything on the car inside and outside might wind up KAD :bowrofl: :shakes head:

I will take some pictures tonight for you with mine on. I have the EVO-R Smoked lens since I thought it looked better than the Red on a black Z. Plus, when it's not on, it blends in with the body so you forget its there.

:bowrofl: What about Plasti-Dip?

... yet  :bowrofl:

I'm probably going to help Tracie if she does her wheels. I don't think I like the finish enough to ever use it.

PS :tiphat: for pics

I wouldn't recommend plasti-dipping wheels personally, since it could peel from chipping/debris...

But that's just me... :ugh2:

But that's an easy fix. Peel off and reapply plus you get another mod fix :bowrofl:

:bowrofl: I don't like repeating the same mod though.. get's old. I want to constantly be improving, not re-doing.
