hahaha, i see, ms.bc :icon17: the only harm i can think of is you will have condensation inside the exhaust and wont be able to get rid of moisture in the engine oil unless you drive your car around for a good 10miles or so. :D

 yeah-mr. Bc told me the same thing....guess i better not then. Dang it.

yep unfortunately you would want to drive it enough so you dry out the exhaust, not to mention that letting the car idle for prolonged periods of times is bad. This cause the engine to be in a run rich state as it idles which can lead to premature engine problems from this rich mixture :ugh2:

Ok so I'm sitting here fuming about not doing anything with the Z this weekend. Taking suggestions as to whether I start installing some GT Mat in the rear hatch or taking off the bumper to measure some lathe for a custom grill behind the fangs. I think I know Ms. Pint's vote :icon17: Anyone else?

Should have come out with me today. GT all the way! But I am interested in the grill semi delete mod though.

That awesome. I do newage stuff (more like sound track type music), but currently just me and electric piano. Very simple. :D

I vote sound deadening the trunk floor. do you have a roller handy? If not, I recommend getting a decent one. :)

I would have been working on the car if I had the time :shakes head:

At this point I haven't committed to actually cutting out the horizontal plastic pieces. I saw someone that did the installed behind them and it looked ok, but I think it's too subtle for my tastes. I want to remove them, but I don't like the idea of having to physically cut out part of the vehicle. TBD :icon17:

I am going to finish the lathe with Dupli Color Shadow and see if I can get a decent black chrome finish. Also, I have plenty of extra lathe. I plan to cut out and finish two pieces in the black chrome, using less than half the total. I don't have any other plans for it, so you're more than welcome to some if you like the finished product

So... that just means you're used to not doing anything with it. A weekend without working on or motoring the Z is no big deal to you. It's a different story for us DD fiends/addicts :rofl2:

Ask Ms. Pint if the roller is decent :icon17: She gave me a couple of 10 sq ft samples, each of which came with a small roller with which other people seem to have had minimal troubles  I may run out of alcohol for cleaning though... other than drinkable forms, it appears to currently be in scarce quantity in our house. Can I just use something like Krud Kutter Degreaser?

Me neither. In my head I sound like Jimmy Page when I fire up my tube amps and vintage guitars. In reality I sound like two cats fighting. :ugh2:

im not entirely, I would like to learn the piano as im always playing it. but with the surgeries ive had, my right side is a slower than my left. ive learned simple songs by ear and played them one handed, but cant play complete songs ... at least not yet.

Nismo89 02-17-2013 07:07 PM

:icon18: :icon18: :icon18:

I learned to play the guitar using Jimmy Page riffs :icon17:

I am certainly no Jimmy Page, but I'd like to think that both of us sound a little better than the audio track of a neighborhood cat fight :bowrofl: One thing that really helped my guitar play was a 12 string acoustic with electric pick up. As long as it was in tune, just strumming chords in random sequence was incredibly melodious
