Oh BTW - I was third in line behind a Boss 302 and an F-150 when a wild pig decided to run out into traffic on I-10 going home. Heavy damage to the Mustang, mess to clean off and from under my car. Can't believe the bumper wasn't damaged, but there wasn't much left of Porky by the time it was my turn. |

Ok, I can't get to Nissan to get coolant. Should I use a product from an auto store in the meantime?

Cracked block/head is a little more difficult to ascertain. You should get your Z to a place that can get it up on a lift and find where the leak is. Unless you have overheated your car, it is not very likely it is something different than just a leak or busted hose. A buddy with a 2009 had the upper radiator hose go bad at about 35,000 miles. |
