Glad it worked out for you...wife requests are seldom as simple as we think they should be!
We bought an over the stove mircrowave on a whim....three cabinet moves and 4 hours later it was installed....yea, I owed the favors after that debacle! LOL

:icon18:

wow, 3 cabinet removal for installation. you hubby is da man!

yah, im not really good at house repairs at all... my caulk job looks like i did it while i sneezed uncontrollably (ok, maybe not that bad), and the last drywall repair i did, i placed a nice picture over it. fixed!

no? elaborate for me..

kenchan 02-05-2013 10:42 AM

from the styling perspective, i think the F4 phantom is by far the best looking fighter jet to date. i made lots of plastic models of that jet when i was a kid.

sold it to my friends after i was done displaying it in my room for many years. :)

ive seen real ones flyby overhead in tokyo-burbs on occasion.

eastwest2300 02-05-2013 10:44 AM

When I was living in Tallahassee, the AF would fly the F22 over the city on training missions or whatever they were doing, I believe they had some placed in Pensacola, but man them boys are fricken awesome.

:iagree: I also like the FA-18 Hornet...... my brother (when he was in California training) had a buddy that was a pilot and he offered to take him up in his jet for a spin, course my brother graciously agreed and they went up in the FA-18 Hornet  afterwards he said it was cool but he'd never want to make it a career. lol.

yah, my son is actually building a FA18 plastic model right now.. :D taking him forever though cause he does so many other things during the day. dang, bet that was one frikken amazing free ride!!

ive also seen the B2 do a flyby near an airbase. :D very fast, very loud, very cool. the way it manuvered was almost like a fly. snap turn-in twist, more turns. i was like

Biggest problem I have is with texture after drywall repair :ugh2: Maybe if you had the proper channel locks your plumbing tools would be better than your car tools for plumbing work  I inherited a gigantic pipe wrench from my grandfather that about the size of my leg - I can't imagine when I'll ever need to use it, but it's a great look-like-you-know-what-your-doing tool :rofl2:

You know it's time for a new head shot when you find out your pic is on an event flyer and you find yourself wondering "Where in the heck did they dig that one up from?!"

I saw an F117 night hawk fly over, that was pretty swwweet! it was silent flying past, but several seconds later, you actually heard it, if that makes any sense.

yah, textured drywall is nearly impossible to match. my drywall was just regular flat drywall, but i couldn't get the paper tape(?) and putty to blend flat to the rest of the wall. i just suck. after a few years i wanted to paint the room so i removed the tape and hot glued the piece into the wall, then puttied the parting line, sanded, and painted. then looked  no more hide-with-picture trick.

lol @ super pipe wrench! yah, my plumbing tool is my phone. :icon17:

 yah, it's literally like a sudden explosion of thrust sound.
