:icon17: I saw that commercial. I know she would rather me stick with mods that don't cost more than the intake (can you say short shifter ). Exhaust is going to be a difficult sell lol.

I could never be that happy about a chevy :stirthepot:

:hello: Hi Mr. Kenchan!! how is your day so far?
Not too many taffyapples bothering you this fine day I hope

kenchan 02-05-2013 10:25 AM

so last night after supper i helped wife do some kitchen sink mod... she was trying to do it herself by hand and could not get some of the bits off.

first off i hate plumbing. i dont know how to do it. i hate pipes to begin with. but this job had nothing to do with pipes other than getting around them to get to these built-in soap dispensers she wanted removed (2 of them) and capped.. so i went ahead and played along cause i owed many browney points. :p

i dont have any plumbing tools... for car related tools i have a full case and then some. i look at for plumbing tools, i only have like duct tape...? :icon17:

anyway, i brought the channel-locks and a screw driver and some other tools that looked like wat plumbers use  and duct tape... just for the macho effect. :p

i had to lay down in the cabinet below the sink as if was doing the steering lock mod. :icon14: okay, felt right at home . then i had to remove these dispenser locking rings below the sink which the plumber kingkong'ed torqued. wtf.. my channel-locks dont fit. duct tape is useless. so i had to godzilla release it with tools that aren't for plumbing (heavy duty long nose pliers :icon17:).

conclusion: car tools > plumbers tools.

anyway, i got it off and finished to job.

Glad it worked out for you...wife requests are seldom as simple as we think they should be!
We bought an over the stove mircrowave on a whim....three cabinet moves and 4 hours later it was installed....yea, I owed the favors after that debacle! LOL
