Hi guys. :hello: Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. I was hoping to get on but it was a very long day. Just got home from working 14 hours and went to a fire in a neighboring town. Guys do not leave torpedo heaters unattended especially when thawing pipes. Then had 3 MVA's. Didn't get to bed until 4PM. Got up for dinner and back to bed. Then today had an ambulance call. Quite busy and it is cold out. Single to - digits.

Mr.kenchan, that sounds like signs of presbyopia, usually starting to happne from early 40's.

What happen is whenever we are looking at an object within an arm-length distance, the crystalline-lens inside the eyeball have to be compressed by the muscles whose holding it in order to put everything in focus.

However, the muscle that compress the crystalline-lens will become weaker by age (I hate saying this too) thus it cannot compress the lens as much as it needs to, thus the eyes cannot focus the near object.

When you visit the optometrist next time, tell him you need something for computer and reading, he should know what you're looking for.

ahhh, thanks, mr.alcheng. i will definitely note the above to my eye-doc when i see them next time. :D im kinda excited now that i can have glasses i can wear to my client's place.

Looks like I get the Acura for the day :icon17:

that's a smart move, mr.jar.

umm....sounds like you are trying to pull a fast one on your wifey? :icon17:

i prefer MT in heavy traffic vs AT unless im on a constant uphill. :)

:icon18: often times my wife says that i contradict myself...actually the issue with me is my mind is always thinking and onto something so wat i might've said in the am is old news vs wat im trying to do current.

so it sounds like im contradicting, but im just making progress. :p
wait, wat did i just post? :icon17:

:hello: kensan

I tried, but she lied the other night - she's doesn't really hate the Z :icon17:

:iagree: totally with the MT in traffic. It is so much easier to keep pace. AT is too much speed up then slow down plus you have to ride the brake too much. I try to drive my MT in traffic w/o braking unless I think the guy behind me isn't paying close enough attention. I just watch the traffic way up in front and adjust my gear accordingly

"making progress"... I like that :icon17:

:iagree: I am blessed with very good eyesight despite nearly everyone in my family needed glasses in high school. I have strabismus, but surgeries at ages 2 and 12 pretty much corrected it, though my left eye still drifts off sometimes when I'm tired.

Mr.kenchan, glad to know you read my post.. it's one of the most useful one I've posted in here... :icon17:

If you already have dry eyes problem and there's limited types of lenses you can use, I really suggest you to shorter the wearing hours.

Also, since you are looking at the computer and music notes all the time. When you are visiting the optometrist next time, have he writes you an computer distance eyeglasses prescription for use with contact lenses. It should be a very simple +0.75D something like that.

BTW, thanks for reading my post, I thought no one read it... :icon18:

 :icon14: :shakes head: I always read your posts....:ugh2: :stirthepot: :icon17:
