Hey Mr.kenchan... regarding the body, since this time is an official race, so the body is limited to 4 doors sedan body and have to be a certain standard. Well, basically there's only 3 bodies which are the most poular and I am going to test a Mazda 6 and see how it goes... :

http://www.muchhobby.com/shopping/images/1487-11.jpg

This is more like a neutral handling body and quite stable at highspeed, but will have to test it first...

sounds good, mr.alcheng. wow, protoform is still around, huh?

what would be a brushless motor equivalent to an oldskool stock 27turn?

Yeah, it's a Chevy HHR, they sit too high from the factory. 3" drop makes it look and handle much better. I also installed a rear sway bar as the factory doesn't include one.

 Yes, the Protoform is still around... BTW, discuss with my friend further more and I am not going to use the Mazda 6 body since the aero of the Mazda6 might not be able to provide the steering I need in the infield...

Gonna test 2 bodies next time

http://www.muchhobby.com/shopping/images/1505-30.jpg

and:

http://www.muchhobby.com/shopping/images/1525-25.jpg

These two offer more steering response but I have to test them out to see how's the stability..

Regarding the motor speed, the class I run this time will be more equal to 23turns backs in the days, but with the updated electronics, it offers more punch out of the corner and less drag from the motor under deceleration..

Back in the days there's lots of choice, and it was fun seeing McLaren F1-GTR, Integra and some LM body running around... :yum: :tup:

Sup guys :tiphat:

I was looking at the Z emblems I painted with a fellow car enthusiast. After a discussion, I think I am going to add some clear. Anyone see a problem with sanding the existing clear a bit (maybe 1000 grit), cleaning, and spraying a couple more wet coats?

I've been waiting for the perfect time to fire up the snowblower. Crazy winds (58kph) make snowblowing fun. I have a 4' tall drift blocking my front door and another blocking the door to the shed where the snowblower is. Our street is the last for the plow to drive down too. He usually drives by 5 minutes after I pack up the snowblower. :ugh2:

hi ms.bc. :hello: yah, it's very unfortunate that there are idiots out there like them taffyapples that cant pay for their own well being. and we have to share the roads with them and care for them.

i dont have time to be dealing with bodyshops and all, so i prefer trying to minimize crashes by only driving my Z during the day, and on early hours on the weekends (but not too early as hungover people are rushing to their part-time jobs. :icon17: ) even if i paid $$ for the poor person Fit, i still prefer drving that ecnobox vs driving my G in the snow. :p

i think it is a matter of time i get hit by a deer though while motoring my G or Z.... :eekdance:

Yes, plows us in. So I suit up again, and go back out to clear the end of the driveway. I usually clear the end of the driveway for my two elderly neighbours across the road at the same time. The poor bastards spend all day shovelling just to stay on top of it. They appreciate when I help them with the heavy stuff after the plow drives by.
