Still in the middle of the year-end reporting grind of 16 hour days. Today is my Friday too, so at least I get to work from home tomorrow, as well as Saturday and Sunday. :ughdance:

Hi Ms.Pint :hello: want to trade today's Texas weather for the projected 15-25cm (6-10") of snow we're expecting?

The build has been done for a couple of weeks now. I need better weather to get to the exhaust shop (60km away). I have little jobs to left which won't stop me from getting the car tuned such as, making a mount for the HKS EVC-s, finishing the carbon fibre in the engine bay, and possibly powder coating the strut bar (I have no idea what colour i want).

I'm planning on driving to R/T Tuning (8+ hour drive) to get the car tuned as soon as the weather warms up. Hopefully before the end of April.

Good thing I'm busy with a-pillars right now otherwise I would be going nuts waiting for the nice weather to come.

I had my strut bar powder coated to match my wheels. That option might work for you as well?

Yeah I thought about that. My wheels are the Dolphin finish, close to the sport brake colour. That's what I was thinking of doing but not sure about the whole 50 shades of grey thing...

Then you either need something very dark to make your greys the highlight color, or something very bright to make the greys the background color...


Do you have any other colors on the car you might want to bring into the engine bay?

I am having the same questions about my strut tower brace. I have black chrome intakes, so I feel like it ought to be gloss black, but I like the idea of KAD (or maybe even KAV when I finally see it in person) or a smoke anodized metal cast like Dupli-Color has.
