Hey, what do you all know of Niche wheels? I always thought they were cheesy, but they have some nice looking three piece forged setups.

kenchan 12-28-2012 05:20 PM

yah, my local discount tire (america's tire) has a non-touch mounter too and they did a perfect job on my nismo's when i had new yok's mounted :p

when i get the RE11's mounted though, im going to Fit them to southbend (tirerack). :D

Took it to Discount Tire. Now I know some of you are groaning, and others are shaking their heads....but these guys did a PUUUUUUURRRRRRRFFFFFEEEEECCCCCTTTTTT job!!

It looks like they never even touched the wheel! I'm sooooo pleased! I now have a trustworthy tire shop! :) :happydance:

Here's another jewel: the nail that was in my tire did not puncture the tube, so no repair was required! :happydance:

One last thing: I didn't get charged a penny! :happydance:

Good deal, Mr. Happy

Discount Tire or Tire Discounters

I have used Discount Tire for my last few cars, and I have always been happy. With the Z, they have me drive on and off the lift even

yah, 3pcs wheels appear to be very tricky to manufacture. i would let the real wheel manufacturers handle those. :) they are much heavier than one piece wheels though, and a biotch to clean. my G35C runs 3pc SSR's and without a blower i can't get the water out of the channel between the spoke and barrel pieces. :ugh2: it's worth the hassle if you're into :yum: wheels. :D

on my Z i prefer one piece light weight wheels. :)

mr.alcheng - on the big sales. and that chair look cool.
hope you get that stillen soon. are you going to get the adjustable endlinks as well? :) it's great to have extra robustness as the heim joints start to rattle if you use high torsion on stock endlinks...and being able to use the intermediate set-ups is great.

Can I ask why you would get stud replace type in front and bolt-on in the rear if you're getting the same size spacer? :tiphat:

That's actually a really good question. I prefer the stud replacement type for safety reasons.

It's flappers and jazz - I wouldn't expect anything else :icon17:

Plus, places that specialize in cocktails and call their drinks libations, are never that seedy
