:tiphat: A-OK on all items Kenchan.....I think difference in temperature was the extreme one in RED above....cannot prevent opening of garage door(s) unfortunately....cover is draped across some lawn furniture drying, it was pretty wet around the bottom. I will probably replace on car when it has dried out,to prevent bumps just like you said....I worry also-hubby says too much but meh-what does he know about owning a Z ;)

hello, ms.bc! :rofl2: goodam!

depending on how much condensation is on the cover, you might be better off getting an outdoor cover if the one you use currently is for indoor. :)

also a large fan blowing air around inside will dramatically help. my oscillating fan is mounted on the wall with remote. for days my garage is above 50F, i run my dehumidifier as needed with the fans. (colder temps freeze the machine :eekdance:).

hello, mr.alcheng! yah, i had to skim back 10pages very quickly. :icon17:

I only have one question:
How much do they weigh in comparison to your stockers?

Save up for the good one....

Get the cheapy one and you'll only get ":ugh2:" from people (not people in here but people on the street... :p)

happytheman 01-14-2013 12:58 PM

And before you ask, if I'm not mistaken, the stock front wheel is 21lb and the rears are ~22lb.

alcheng 01-14-2013 01:01 PM

hi mr.alcheng - fat as in the sidewall? if so, yah, i would run the 245/35/19's on the front instead of the Z's 245/40/19's.

which konig are you looking at getting, ms. pint?

I can't save up, it would take 2 1/2 years to get the ones I want and I'm not waiting that long.

i think those are nismo weights.

23.2lbs and 23.8lbs for sport 19's from what i gathered.

The Deception with blue accent since the Illusion isn't made in the size I need. Husband might be losing his job due to company shutting down so I can't afford to do Weds for a long *** time now.

hummm...in such financial crunch, i would just keep your stockers for the time being and enjoy the car without any mods. imho, wheels and accessories for a car should be purchased cash with no creditcard debit. why? expect to bend wheels, tires getting flats. i usually keep budget for one extra wheel/tire set for such emergencies.

the Deceptions appear to come in 18x8 (ET20 and ET40) and 18x9 (ET35) looking at discounttire.com are those the only sizes available?

those offsets aren't going to look right unless you're willing to work with spacers and lowering. ET20 will have poke, ET35 for rear at 9" width will look too conservative.

honestly though, get spacers for your stock wheels and lower it if you want to get the most out of appearance with minimal funds. otherwise, just leave it stock and save up.

yah, waiting does suck. i usually plan quite a bit ahead before taking the plunge... so it may appear like im buying stuff here and there, but it's all planned minimum 6months to a year prior for stuff that cost more than $500.

What kenchan said.
I'm very pleased with my car's appearance on the stock rims with spacers and springs. It's definitely noticeable as a more aggressive stance than stock, but without being a StanceNation poster boy.

I'm also of the same mindset when it comes to spending on mods.
I can't swing or justify the cash for the wheels I really want (SSR Professor MS1), so I'm just not going to do it. I mean, hey... the OEM Sport Package rims are a pretty good looking RAYS wheel already. Anything less would be a downgrade.
