Monsoon time here in Houston.

I may go out in the garage and put another coat of wax on the Z, nothing else to do until football starts at noon.

I still have to go out in the garage and just take a peek every once and a while. As painful as the past few weeks have been with all the broken studs/rounded lug nuts, I am totally satisfied with the look of the new cross-drilled/slotted rotors (thanks Z1), powder coated calipers (thanks Mike the powdercoater), and the color of my rims (thanks R&S Solutions - Houston).

Hang in there mr. happy. Things will get sorted and you will love the look.

I LOVE THIS CAR! :happydance:

:happydance: :happydance: me too! (Love my car:tup: )
 i went to check on mine yesterday and discovered dampness on outside of cover, pulled cover up and discovered lots of condensation underneath andcon on my Z....anything to worry about there:confused:

So I woke up in the middle of the night to hear my husband fall down in the kitchen. Not even sure why unless he kept drinking after I went to bed.

Jar you going to cars and coffee? I'm thinking of hitting lime creek instead.

Those look very nice.

I am, of course, a bit partial to the KAV color.

Good morning, everyone. There is nothing like starting my Sunday with a meeting of my AA brothers at 630 AM. It is feels like a Canadian summer today -- 24 degrees F. I am now packed and ready to go deliver a two day presentation for a prospective client in Dinuba, CA. I have everything done except for the second-guessing and panic I inevitably put myself through and then a 3 hour drive later this morning in my rented Corolla. I just can't sleep well in hotels if one of my Z's is in the parking lot.

Oh yeah -- I am likely going to get in a round of "Bad Puppy" with the Mrs. before I leave. She misses me so when I am gone -- I have no idea why.

Have a great day!!!

I admit Alonso is good, cos with such a sh!tty Ferrari they have in 2012, he max out the car to 200%.

But it's his "whining kid" attitude that keeps me don't really like him...

Well, I am not a fan of Vettel too, but his positive attitude shows some character.

How do you post a picture other than a thumbnail? I've been wandering through the black hole of the search function to no avail.

Apologies in advance.

You have to link it from another location where it's hosted on the Internet. You can upload it to an album here on the site, or Flickr or photobucket (which I use).

Copy the link URL that includes the .jpg or .png extension, paste it in your post, and surround it with .

Photobucket will actually already provide the [img] brackets for you when you copy the link. :)

While I will defer to mr. gale's superior knowledge on the subject, I would still be a bit concerned about moisture under the cover. At the very least, I would try to take it off the car once a week for things to dry out, especially with a color like dark cherry.

Cos Ferrari and Massa gives him 200% support and baby him like a 5 years old.

I forgot which race but it was this season, Massa was keeping himself just above 1 sec thus he won't have use DRS thus pass Alonso.

How could Alonso be not happy and positive when he's in a team like that..??

Hamilton.... no comment.... :ugh2:

There's another way you can do besides the method Mr.happytheman suggest.

Attach the thumbnail as usual, before you submit the post, press "Preview Post"

You will see the thumbnail in the "Preview", click the thumbnail, the full size picture will show up in full page, copy the address from the address bar (this is the web-address of the image)

Go back one page, and click http://www.the370z.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif, then paste the address into the box.

Done...!!!

 thanks gurney :tiphat: concern about mold/mildew on the underside of cover was in the back of my head...and it looks like only the bottom 1/3 is affected. It's so warm and moist here right now....
BONUS: if i take the cover OFF i get to gaze upon the Z ....sigh.

Well, like I said, Gale knows way more about the subject than I ever will, but a little preventative action; i.e. taking off the cover occasionally to let things air out doesn't take that much effort. Plus, it has it's advantages like you pointed out.
