if they cant meet what you want, go elsewhere, there are plenty of Car places out there wanting your business.

Town North. My sales guy that got me into my car at a great deal is still there (but in a higher position now) so I'm seeing what he can work out for us.

I just talked to the service director about going in for him to check my paint and he was a dick. He said I can go to any Nissan dealership to get it checked. Yeah buddy, I can, but your dealership is the one that sold me the damn car. I even told the guy I spoke with last night that it's Nissan paying for it, not the dealership so just approve it already so I can move on. Sorry I'll stop now before I go into a big, incomprehensible rant.

They told me one is a rock chip, which I'm not buying. One looks like it might be etched and the other looks like something under the clear coat.

hummm... if it is paint etching would your insurance be able to cover it? i mean paint damage should be under comprehensive coverage if its deemed non-defect by the dealer.

not sure, just brainstorming some options for ya.

I don't know what I'm going to do. I might just let it sit and fully crack and get jacked up. I need to not love a car this much anyway.
Maybe I can trade it for an BRZ.

Seriously, the smart thing to do is get the hood repainted and just move on. Not what you want to hear or necessarily fair.

Next time you see my car, I'll show you the giant rock chip I caught in the hood going to Nismo Fiesta last spring. To fix it would require a full hood repaint, and I just said screw it.

You are the only person that is going to notice the spot.

CF hood will definitely look nice on your white. CF hoods has its own quirks so might want to consider maybe vinyl? dinoc will look to fake, so i'd do like glossy black or something instead if vinyl.

personally, i would just source a new paint job from a qualified bodyshop.
