we r getting hit good here too.. not as bad as jersey but we r starting to flood already and it hasnt even hit land yet.. im sure i will be loseing power soon. winds are up to about 35mph and they are saying we r gonna get up to 65mph.. im not in a flood area so im hoping that my house wont flood...

AK, be safe as possible. We are with you! I just saw Gov. Christie admonishing local officials in Atlantic City for allowing folks as close as one block from the water to shelter in place. He told them its too late to get rescue folks in and they would have to ride it out till morning. Its going to be a long night.

Hope everyone makes it through safely.

If you guys haven't done it, make sure all your portable devices are fully charged before the power goes out!

This shyte is for real, every major highway on Long Island is shut down. I've never seen anything like this. A ton of flooded places on the south shore and wind gust hitting close to 90mph in my area.

My street in Yonkers is 100% flooded. Never seen anything like this. I'm on the third level in my building, and I can hear the water from my apartment. Nuts. Thankfully the Z is safe and sound in the building's garage :)

My car cover blew off, completely blew off.. I was like, wowwwww.

My lobby is taking on water. I can't even believe what I'm looking at. Amazing I still have power.

in Middletown NY, friends have lost power but my apartment complex is brand new and so far only had flickers. I'm sure it will go out tonight or tomorrow. The neighborhood street lights have gone out and come back on, and are now back out again.

we've had thousands upon thousands of power outages, flooded roads, closed roads, transformers blowing up exc..here in Maryland where i live

so far we have been one of the very few that have not had the power go out... fingers crossed..

praying for you all..

Hasn't been too bad here. Some rain and a lot of wind. Leaves and debris all over the roads but the Z was pretty stable in the wind. Luckily no power outages for me either. Hope you guys all stay safe and that this thing is over soon.
